FLIC seeks accurate capacity stats from SA factories
Published: 13th May 2020
Pietermaritzburg, KZN, SA - FLIC would like to assist the footwear industry and retail by collating the total available capacity of footwear manufacturers by the various fashion categories. This information will then be distributed amongst the large retailers to give them a good idea of what is available to them from the local industry. A template has been sent out as far and wide as our current mailing list allowed. If anybody didn’t receive the mail but would like too, then please send a mail requesting the template to richard@flicsa.co.za . We will then add your details to our mailing lists. The mail containing the template was sent out on the 1st May 2020.
The template will allow you to populate it by factory, by gender, by category and the total annual capacity that could be provided by your company. We will use the information provided in an aggregated format to take into account your companies confidential figures. FLIC assures you that we will work with your figures in the strictest of confidence.
The quicker we receive the information, the quicker we can present this to retail. Retailers are more than likely to request to audit certain factories of interest to themselves, to ascertain the accuracy of the information provided. So please keep your figures as accurate as possible. - +27 (0)82 449 9445, richard@flicsa.co.za
