Kim-G secures first export order
Published: 4th Mar 2021

The men's thong is part of an initial 200 pair order.

Wrapped up and ready to go.
Kimberley, N. Cape, SA - S&V has Kim-G Leather Sandals, making 50 pairs/week, listed as a crafter in the Directory.
We may have to change that.
Opened 2 years ago by former Durbanite Gerry du Toit as a retirement project, Kim-G has just dispatched its first export order to Australia.
"The owner of the orthopaedic company I worked for in Oz from 2002 to 2006 contacted me after seeing my sandals on Facebook," Du Toit wrote. "He also has his own shops, and he gave me a small order of 200 pairs to try out. If they sell well, he will repeat the order. He ordered 4 styles - men's leather thongs in 3 colours, and 1 ladies thong with adjustable strap, also in leather.
"I'm really hoping they sell well."
