4Tify Africa resurrection bid – still no finality

The application to resurrect 4Tify Africa – formerly North Safety – and other subsidiaries of African Boomerang Holdings, reported in the last issue of S&V Protect, is still ongoing, attorney Kobus van Niekerk, of Pretoria-based JI van Niekerk Inc., representing African Boomerang, has confirmed.
Two creditors said they were under the impression the applications had been withdrawn.
“The application has not been withdrawn and is still very much pending,” he said in November. “We had hoped to have this finalized by now, so, the short answer is that I do not know. Hopefully in the next two months.”
