Aldora: New direction for Brandon Ganesh

Brandon Ganesh…Change of direction.
Durban, KZN, SA – Brandon Ganesh, formerly with the Nikkita Footwear, in February started a new factory with a very different business model.
Aldora Footwear (Pty) Ltd targets the independent market with a small range of women’s, leather upper, stitchdown construction shoes and sandals.
Current production is 200-250 pairs/day.
“Aldora also offers synthetic upper footwear,” he said, “but not under our brand.”
Future plans include offering a men’s range, and supplying mini-chains.
His father, Reno, formerly COO at Nikkita, and his mother, Irene, previously a director at Nikkita subsidiary BRIT Footwear, have helped him set up the new business.
Aldora is at 484 Main Road, Malvern.

The stitchdown range is initially aimed at women only.
