Technical running exhibitors
Published: 3rd Jul 2024
The days when most running shoe and apparel brands had stands at the Comrades Expo are over. That side is now dominated by race sponsor Mr Price Sport, which runs a retail outlet at the fair.
There were some running shoe and apparel brands exhibiting, including distributor Tifosi Sports, promoting the Swiss shoe brand, On, distributor Stillwater Sports, promoting the Spanish shoe brand, Joma, and sock manufacturer Falke, promoting its Mikado range.
We asked them to comment on the exhibition. We also asked them to comment on their plans for their brands going forward. Siphiwe Maseko, Marketing Team Lead at Tifosi Sports, and Jenni Kruger, sales manager – hosiery, replied to our questions.
