When textile mills are down, hopefully tanneries are up
Durban, KZN, SA – Fredisco Dyes and Chemicals (Pty) Ltd is fortunate to be servicing clients in both the leather and textile industries. With a bit of luck, when one industry does poorly, the other does a bit better! Currently our leather customers seem to be doing well. We have seen strong demand for our leather dyes from tanneries across the country which has helped us increase our market share considerably over the past 18 months. There is a dual reason to this and it likely is a result of the cyclical nature of the industry as well as the quality Everlan dyes that we supply, which conform to all the latest REACH and other environmental regulations. Overall, we are positive about the leather sector in South Africa and look forward to supporting our customers with the right products and watching them grow from strength to strength.
