Tshepo opens new store at Mall of Africa
Johannesburg, Gauteng, SA (02 June 2026) — South African fashion brand Tshepo has opened its second store at Mall of Africa.
Tshepo, founded by Tshepo Mohlala in Victoria Yards 10 years ago, specialises in locally made denim jeans.
“Victoria Yards remains central to Tshepo's identity, serving as the brand's flagship retail and creative space that celebrates local craftsmanship, entrepreneurship, and community. It is also home to the Tshepo Atelier – a world-class hub of craftsmanship emerging from the heart of downtown Johannesburg,” according to a release.
“The brand's growth story has also become a reflection of modern South African entrepreneurship, demonstrating how locally built businesses can evolve into premium African brands with both cultural and commercial impact. Through resilience, innovation and a commitment to quality, Tshepo Mohlala has transformed a local creative vision into a nationally recognised business that continues to champion African excellence on a larger stage.”
