Kulula sponsors NSPCA rescue air travel

The National Council of SPCAs (NSPCA) and kulula.com have joined forces to facilitate the transporting of the NSPCA’s Inspectors by air on a national scale to attend to the welfare needs of animals in need of the NSPCA’s intervention for the next 12 months.

The initiation of this partnership began during the Knysna and Eastern Cape fires in June this year, whereby kulula.com leapt forward to support the NSPCA Disaster Teams with flights to the affected areas - allowing the NSPCA team to swiftly reach the animals impacted by the disaster.
Many animals were left displaced and some severely injured. Thanks to kulula.com, the NSPCA Disaster Teams were able to reach the animals quicker and provide them with the much needed care and assistance to alleviate their pain and suffering.
“We are excited to partner with the NSPCA and assist them with flights so that they can continue the great work that they do in terms of looking after the welfare and needs of the many distressed animals within South Africa. As their partner, we would like to encourage our fans to take care of their furry friends, whilst increasing awareness around assisting the many other animals in need of care,” says Shaun Pozyn, Head of Marketing, Customer Experience and Loyalty.
The NSPCA is grateful for this collaboration as it will save the organisation thousands of Rands, allowing us to use the money elsewhere to uplift the welfare of animals throughout the country.

"And all these new names I must remember - I can't go around calling them 'hey you'." - Ulf Oehl, formerly of BASF's leather division, which is now owned by Stahl.
